Little things

A couple of weeks ago a friend asked if I could make a little present to welcome a new baby girl into the world. I have made a few things to order and still every time I feel honoured... not to mention a little bit anxious.

While she was sleeping, I made a bib and jazzed up a onesie for my friend.

I used quilting cotton and terry towelling to make the bib from a pattern I drafted myself.

I added flutter sleeves to a sleeveless onesie I bought from Target using this tutorial. The heart appliqué looked a little boring by itself, so I hand sewed a little ribbon bow on it.

Cute and easy. Oh how I wish I had a sewing machine while Little Monkey was a baby!

  6. Very cute little set, Jenya! I noticed your comment today, about being a "no-reply blogger", over at Pam's (Threading My Way) blog; I was wondering if you had fixed it yet? This is a link to an easy-to-follow post addressing this if you need it. Or share with others :)
